All the Hemispheres

Leave the familiar for a while.
Let your senses and bodies stretch out

Like a welcomed season
Onto the meadow and shores and hills.

Open up to the Roof.
Make a new watermark on your excitement
And love.

Like a blooming night flower,
Bestow your vital fragrance of happiness
And giving
Upon our intimate assembly.

Change rooms in your mind for a day.

All the hemispheres in existence
Lie beside an equator
In your heart.

Greet Yourself
In your thousand other forms
As you mount the hidden tide and travel
Back home.

All the hemispheres in heaven
Are sitting around a fire
Chatting

While stitching themselves together
Into the Great Circle inside of
You.

We Gathered

We gathered while the ocean roared outside the window. We gathered under a canopy of stars in warm, healing waters. We gathered with dishes of warm food - cinnamon toast, homemade soups, bright green vegetables grown right on the property. We gathered every morning. We gathered every night. We gathered in our hearts and our souls, while holding hands and singing songs, while making art and shedding tears.

We all gathered for the first time being ourselves - perfect just as we were, yet eager to expand more fully into all we knew we were capable of. And we gathered for the last time still ourselves, but altered, with our alive-ness awakened to the knowledge of the world's relentless need for our work, our stories, our spirits. We arrived already bright with anticipation, excitement and courage; we left positively radiant.

Perfection. Wholeness. Singing-up. Love.

I was just struck by the thought that if I hadn't gone, I would have read this post with an ache and longing in my heart. I would have wondered at what you could possibly mean by the magical words you have written. I would have wished so deeply to have felt those things. And I did. And I do. I went. I lived it. I am so blessed!

I am still floating on the dreamy cloud of love and compassion and intention that I fell into here at this sacred place. My meager words are inadequate. Just know that I feel this gathering is a major stepping stone to fulfilling my best purpose.

What a gift you all are. What a gift this is. It warms my heart just knowing it exists, even if I couldn't come. xoxo
